MUSCATINE RECEIVES FEDERAL GRANT TO EXPAND AIRPORT

Des Moines, Iowa – State Representative Nathan Reichert of Muscatine was pleased to learn today that US Senator Tom Harkin has secured $380,475 to acquire land for the Muscatine Airport.

"The federal funds to expand our airport will make our community a better place to do business," said Reichert. "I'm hopeful the expansion can help us lure new companies and good paying jobs to Muscatine as well as encourage local companies to expand their operations here."

The Muscatine Airport is one of seven Iowa airports that will receive funding.
