Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack signed a bill to provide resources for injured veterans and home ownership grants for veterans and their families at the State Capitol. State Representative Nathan Reichert of Muscatine attended the bill signing on the west steps of the Capitol.

Muscatine Development Corporation President and CEO Gary Carlson spoke
in the Iowa Capitol on Tuesday. Carlson spoke to a House of
Representatives subcommittee on Quality of Life issues, and related his
experience in helping to secure Muscatine's designation as a Cultural
Development District. Carlson and State Representative Nathan Reichert
